The Diocese of Sandhurst extends across most of the central, north central and north eastern areas of the State of Victoria, covering an area of 45,196 square kilometres and comprising of 56 schools. The large regional centre of Albury/Wodonga has all of the features of a capital city coupled with the advantages of rural living.
Due to an internal promotion, the Diocese now seeks an experienced educator for Catholic College Wodonga. Born from the Mercy charism, this is a secondary co-educational College for years 7 to 12 comprising 1,100 students and more than 100 staff. Attentive to the ‘signs of the times’, the College responds to the needs of contemporary learners by designing and implementing innovative programs. The learning environment is highly relational with trust, commitment and love very evident.
The Diocese invites applications from Victoria and interstate from people able to demonstrate:
- Active commitment to the teachings and practice of the Catholic Faith and able to lead a school as a faith filled Catholic community;
- A career in secondary education with significant leadership experience, as either a principal or assistant/deputy principal;
- Energy and genuine passion for education, students and student wellbeing;
- An understanding of contemporary educational thinking and capable of leading change with clear intent and purposeful instructional leadership.
